I've got some news :)

Well I got married! Yippy. As one as my favoirte blogs, I'm going to steal her blogs name in this post "I married a Masri." He will from now on be called "hubby" or something along that line. No name, sorry.

We're staying at his families (NEW) flat right now and the water went out ERRRRRR!!! I tried to make pancakes since he said he's never had them and I couldn't find ANYTHING I needed in the kitchen so I gave up until he comes home from juma. He won't be happy since I told him I'd have food for him when he comes :(. So I'll end up making eggs or something and wait to make those until he can help me find stuff.

Congratulations! I just found your blog today and have already commented three times...i'm not a stalker, I promise, lol. I'm just a sister looking to meet fellow Muslimahs through my blog and the blogs of others.

Sorry if I'm prying...but I just wondered how your marriage was arranged? Like, did you know him from the U.S. or meet him in Egypt? And how did your family react?

Sorry, sorry. you don't have to answer if you don't want to. I just find every sister's story so fascinating...especially the reverts because i have not yet told my family that I am Muslim; I try to find hope and courage through other sisters experiences.

i met him online though facebook actually. almost 2 yrs ago. we started getting really close and talking a lot a little over a yr ago and then we decided to meet :)

well my parents weren't happy when i told them i wanted to get married... so you can imagine lol.

well i hope you find the courage to tell your family soon. i guess i was lucky with mine. they just make comments here and there but some of my friends have been disowened by their families.
